The City of South Daytona eGov Mobile application makes it easy for residents of this progressive city on the Halifax River in Central Florida to access content and services from its website through a specially-designed interface for the iPhone. The South Daytona mobile app is the first of its kind for any city of any size in Florida.

A comprehensive feature set gives users access to nearly all aspects of their local government – city departments and elected officials, local and state officials, community news & events, the ability to report a wide range of problems through the “Report It” feature, access to meeting minutes and schedules, and information on community services.

Users can also stay abreast of official city news, upcoming special events and public meetings, and can access an archive of city newsletters with the click of a button.

With this app, users can look up information about South Daytona city government and elected officials, including phone numbers and email addresses, and find out when and where various boards and commissions meet. Find the address for a city department, elected official, service or function then use the built-in mapping capability to locate the address and even show driving directions from your current location.

Report a variety of issues directly to various city departments -- even take pictures with your iPhone and load them into your service request. Receive and email confirmation your request was received, then track progress on your request through the Citys Report It! Application on their city website.

Ever need a city service, but werent sure where to find it? Look no further than the Services icon. Incredibly, all city services can now be reached easily using your iPhone!
